Welcome and Hello!

Welcome to Molly McGill Academics! I am, well, Molly McGill and I am so excited to help your learners on their academic journeys! Education is truly my passion and it is my honor to have educated over 4000 learners over the last few years of my career, which started in 2018. Here is a bit of my own story:

In 2018, I graduated the University of Colorado at Boulder with my Master's degree in Art History. I had NO IDEA where I was going or what I was going to pursue after my program was completed. I had previously worked for the Walt Disney company and enjoyed my time there greatly. I had a desire to work in museum education or continue working at the collegiate level, as I had been teaching on campus for two years and so enjoyed creating my own curriculum. Literally three days after graduation, I met my long-term partner, and my path truly changed forever. Within a few short months, we had sold everything we owned, left our apartments and jobs behind, and started traveling internationally!

We spent the rest of 2018 through the beginning of 2020 traveling the world, staying in over twenty countries, including Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Chile, Costa Rica, and so many more! Unfortunately, with the pandemic, we have put travel plans on hold for now but look forward to continuing soon. This traveling lifestyle led me to online teaching, specifically through the platform Outschool, where I have been working since 2018 focusing on bringing art history and pop culture history courses to students aged 7-18 and college preparation writing courses to older learners. I have been truly blessed to have taught over 2600 learners on the platform since 2018 and look forward to meeting more diverse learners in the future! My classes focus on engagement, acceptance, and exploration for curious minds. On this platform, I hope to introduce you to my courses and to provide content on writing, art, travel, and anything in between to spark your learners' imaginations and to help you along your own educational journeys.
